iTunes is supposed to just work.
It is not supposed to get stuck half way through syncing and occasionally refuse to sync at all. It is, technically, supposed to take over your music library, but I hardly count that as "just working".
Shuffler just works. And it lets me put my music in a normal folder on my Shuffle, too, which makes changing it by hand, uploading it to other computers, and clearing space for other files much easier.
Why on earth didn't I try the free solution first?
